Learn how to make a variety of Sub-Irrigated Planters (SIPs), great for the urban container gardener or anyone who wants to produce high yields and can be used on roofs, patios, balconies, decks – anywhere! SIPs are water-conserving devices that introduce water from the bottom of the container. We will also discuss many different “soil-less” growing mediums you can make yourself. Everyone will go home with a fully functional water ef?cient SIP that they have made themselves ready for planting. Dress appropriately for the weather.
