THE ELBYS: RVA’S NEW RESTAURANT AWARDS

Modeled after the D.C.-based RAMMYS, the first awards ceremony to honor excellence in the Richmond region’s restaurant community will be held on Sunday, Feb. 12, at the Virginia Historical Society at 6:30 p.m. Nominees were chosen by 25 industry professionals, food writers, culinary instructors and food society members. Winners will be selected by a panel of nine qualified judges. “The Mother of the Presidents” party, sponsored by Richmond magazine, Starr Hill, Legend Brewing, and Cirrus Vodka, will follow the awards.

Net ticket proceeds from this event will benefit Tricycle Gardens! Tricycle Gardens is an environmental nonprofit organization focused on bringing agriculture, nutrition education and healthy food access to Richmond’s urban core.
