Join Tricycle Gardens & HandsOn Greater Richmond for a productive day of hands-on work at our urban farm – learn new skills, meet new friends, and get a little dirty! Activities can include farm irrigation, compost management, pruning and weeding in our herb & flower garden, harvesting crops, maintaining crops that have been planted, weed maintenance, and seed transplanting.

The produce from the farm goes directly back into our community through our weekly farm stand in Church Hill. Together we can work together to continue to grow healthy food, healthy communities and a healthy economy!

Volunteers should wear clothes they can get dirty in and bring garden/work gloves. This is a family-friendly opportunity!

They’ve just finished building their new solar greenhouse on site, so expect lots of greenhouse duties. There will also be jobs for compost work, mulching, filling planters, and various building projects.
